My name is Tiffany. I grew up in Malaysia under the influence of two great cooks - my paternal grandma who is a Cantonese and mom a Penang Hokkein. They would go to great lengths to please all of us as well as both my demanding grandpa and my fussy eater father. My grandma would prepare her delicious Cantonese style delicacies whenever we went to visit her. At home, my mom would whip out her Penang style spicy food.  

Apart from being a superb cook, my mom had a hobby of collecting hundreds of delicious recipes most of which were in Chinese language. My interest about cooking grew during my all girl’s high school days where a home science lesson was a compulsory. Therefore, I learnt about various cooking styles such as the Chinese Steam plates, Indian Curries, Malay Kuihs and dishes as well as Western bakeries and cakes.
  
When I was 19 years old, I came to Singapore to further my studies. It’s been many years since I left Malaysia and the memory of my mom’s passion and hobby still lingering in my mind. She has indeed impacted her passion and hobby of cooking and collecting recipes to me.
